Company history
In 1983 Michael's dad brought home a new IBM PC.  This was the beginning of a love affair with computers.  In 1984 and 1985 he attended Duke University (visit the Duke Computer store) Computer Kamp (DUCK) where he learned to program in Turbo Pascal.  Through his teenage years, Michael was constantly experimenting and learning about this new world of computers and mastered DOS and Text-Based Programs.  He ran a successful lawn business, and used a program he developed on that IBM PC to generate customer invoices and flyers.  He also tracked customer information and account balances.  From his first Toshiba laptop in 1990 (which, by the way, still runs flawlessly) to the multiple core CPU systems of today, he has seen it all unfold (and loves being a part of where it's going).  

Waters Consulting originated in the late 1990's when Michael began recommending and setting up PCs and wired networks for home customers and small businesses.  From there it expanded to a full service computer consulting firm, offering exceptional service at competitive prices.
